Local Area Guide

Made up of three communities; Huntsville, Eden, and Liberty, the Ogden Valley is a showcase of recreational amenities, natural beauty, and friendly residents who are eager to share with you what they are fortunate to experience on a daily basis; fresh mountain air, magnificent trails for hiking, biking, and snowmobiling, miles of ski runs on crisp mountain snow, abundant wildlife, water activities galore, events and attractions, great food and warm hospitality.
Huntsville is home to the first bar; the world-famous Shooting Star Saloon, as well as, the first free public school and the first schoolteacher, in the state of Utah. It offers a variety of dining establishments, a public library, post office, banking, gas and convenience stores.
Eden is home to many business services including the Valley Market, post office, banking, gas and convenience station and several restaurants and shops, as well as, a premier 18-hole golf course.
Liberty is primarily a residential community located at the north end of the valley.
We welcome you to "The Valley" and hope your stay is a pleasant one. This guide will point you to the activities, attractions, and events that will help to make your visit memorable.
