Question: Are all of the rentals private homes?
Answer: Yes, all of our homes are owned by individuals. They range in size from Studio - 3 Bedroom Condominiums, to 6800 square foot private residence. They are priced accordingly and by location and amenities.
Question: What is included in the cost to rent these units?
Answer: All of our rentals include paper products, coffee/tea/cream, upscale soaps and shampoos, dishwashing soap, detergents, and if the unit has a wood-buring fireplace-wood. All of our units have complete kitchen housewares, towels, linens, and either outdoor parking or a 1or 2 car garage and most have outdoor grills and hot tubs if they have a deck.
Question: Are any of the units pet friendly?
Answer: Only for long-term stays, we are more than happy to ask the owner if they will allow pets, with an additional security deposit required. Any Unit that has a Pet may be charged a deep-cleaning fee upon departure and deducted from the security deposit.
Question: Do you allow smoking in any of your units?
Answer: None of our Units allow smoking.
Question: How and when do I get my security deposit back?
Answer: If a security deposit has been collected, after you have checked out and your rental unit has been checked for damage beyond normal wear and tear, and if you are eligible for a refund, it will be adjusted on your credit card.
Question: We will be visiting for the holidays, it is OK to get a Christmas tree and where would we get one?
Answer: Because Christmas trees pose a fire hazard and require excessive cleanup efforts they are not allowed in any rental property.
Question: Hey, there’s no snow, can we get our money back?
Answer: As much as we would like to be able to control the weather, alas, we cannot. Therefore, you will not be entitled to a refund if the snow gods (or, for that matter, the sun gods) do not smile on your vacation. The same goes for the following scenarios for which we are not responsible:*
- You arrived late, or had to leave early
- Something happened to you or someone in your party such as loss, damage, injury or illness.
- The roads were bad.
- Some natural disaster struck.
- Appliance or equipment malfunction (although we will do our best to have it repaired as soon as possible).
*We hope you purchased travel insurance.
